New features

You can get a QR code for any file. This code can point to the details, the viewer or to a direct download.
You can now select a shape for an annotation (rectangle, circle, arrow, line).
New profile option to receive a daily overview of your open tasks.
New workflow activity to set the status of a document.
Pressing Enter in the filter field in project select will go to the first project in the list.
When downloading a CSV of a document folder, the metadata fields are added.

Improvements

Copy from existing contact with organization works again.
Organizations are alphabetical when importing.
Bookmarking the login page will no longer result in an error when using the bookmark.
Deleting project did not work in project name contained a single quote.
Viewing a forum post from a binder works again.
Fix design of workflow task dialog for IE8 (white space for scrollbar required in IE8).

New features

Public sharing of documents: The administrator can enable public sharing in the folder access rights. A public share of a document generates a secret link that you can share to external users without an account. Keep in mind that they can pass the link on to other people. It is however possible at any time to disable the share. This can for example be used in a bidding process to share your requirements.
A project owner sees all his project's size when requesting the project size of a project.
When you close the form or report editor without saving your changes you get a warning.

Improvements

Printing of the current view in the viewer did not work.
Upload progress feedback fixed for IE.
When saving a workflow remark as note, the note is now visible to everyone with access to the document.
A workflow task mail was sometimes sent twice.
Printing of workflow state overview works again (scrollbars in all browsers, script error in IE).
The start time of finished workflows was sometimes wrong.

The background process that checks the conversion status sometimes generated the error "missing ) in parenthetical".

New profile option to stop task/workflow notifications.
My profile opens immediatly in edit mode. You no longer need to click on edit first.
Support for full unicode characters in form field names.
Uploading from IE to Chapoo Free now shows upload message.

Improvements

When adding many users at once, the submit button was no longer visible.
Forum titles did not show some special characters correctly.
Mail-in now supports subjects, names and attachments with a charset specification.
Adding an attachment to a meeting was no longer possible.
Memory leak when deleting document with metadata from the recyclebin without form delete rights.
You can now edit the form field name in the properties dialog.

Documents that have links to other documents now have a function to download with all linked documents as a zip.
Notification messages now show the name of the sender in the email From.
The document changes on the dashboard are loaded per 100 to have faster response.
You can now view form data in list view.
Forms can be copied between folders or even between projects.

Improvements

Fixed online printing of documents.
Downloading a selection in a folder 'shared with me' gave an empty zip file.
Renaming to an empty name while moving a document made the document inaccessible.
Form and Report functionality was not enabled when importing folders that contain such folders.
Adding a dropdown to a report criteria gave an error.

Workflow changes: Automatic activities like 'move document' and 'add to binder' will block if an error occurs, unless the activity had nothing to do (e.g. document to move is already in the target directory, or already in the target binder). To unblock the activity you can fix the error (e.g. add the necessary rights) or the coordinator can skip the activity.
You can now have multiple metadatas per folder.

Improvements

Upload progressbar fixed for IE.
Forms now also work in IE8.

New name, new look

Vondle has been re-branded to Chapoo. With the new name comes a fresh new design focussed on user friendliness. We have brought some functions together, and made a clear distinction in icons that had no common function. We now have tabs and a hideaway folder tree to maximize your viewing comfort and we intent to continue on this path by putting all functions in dialogs instead of separate screens and having more dynamic content.

The new name is also reflected in the URL. The old URL will keep on working for 1 year, but please update your bookmarks as soon as possible.

Data repository (optional module)

The data repository user interface has been completely rewritten. Forms and reports can now easily be created using drag-and-drop. The necessary storage structure is automatically created in the background. Forms can be used to store data in a structured way, either as separate data or linked to documents (meta data). Reports can be used to get instant dynamic reporting of your form data in either list form, pie chart, bar chart or line chart.

New features

Documents that have notes now show a yellow line under the view icon. When there are annotations and notes only the red line is shown.
You can now add a fixed revision to a binder.
A contact can now be in multiple organizations.
In folder subscriptions you can select all folders at once.
You can set your preferred download format for CSV in your profile. Unicode support has been improved CSV and XLS.
Added 'function' in CSV download of contacts and organizations.
Workflow tool: You can now pan while in other modes than pan-mode. Pan-mode now also has tooltips.
Workflow tool: selecting a folder now uses a tree control instead of a list.
The logon screen has a link to retrieve your lost password.
When deleting a user you can select additional projects to remove the user from all your projects at once.
REST: functions for managing links between documents.
SOAP: function to get revision names.

Improvements

A message is shown when using an old notify link to items that are removed.
The password field is removed from the profile page and now has to be entered when saving the changes.
Adding a workflow is now a dialog instead of a separate screen.
The workflow applet now correctly saves state names.
The workflow toolbar icons did not fit in the toolbar.
The workflow grid is disabled on IE7 and 8 for performance reasons.
Adding a transition in Internet Explorer is faster by improving the mouse event handlers.
Selecting a coordinator in an auto workflow setting was not possible if the coordinator role only has one member.
Printing an event showed HTML tags.
Notifications of finished workflow tasks failed to send.

API

Please update any SOAP applications so they use the new URLs of the server. Your application with the old URL will continue to work for 1 year. By then your users should have a new version of the application with the new URL.

There is now also a RESTful API, which is easier to use. We recommend all new developments to use this API. You can see the API documentation via this link.

Folder that have subfolders are no longer considered empty so are shown in black.
There is a new icon to hide empty folders.

Advanced search is working again.
There was an error when replacing a revision.
Setting status on selection was not possible with lots of files selected.

New features

The project tree now loads extra data on the fly and shows empty folder in gray.
Unzipping on the server will now add revisions for existing files instead of giving an error.
WF definition activity tooltips now show who must select an actor.
WF preview images now show colors indicating finished and active activities.
CSV import/export is less strict. Also accepts ';' as delimiter and not always requires double quotes.

Improvements

After closing a WF task dialog, the document details are reloaded so they are up to date.
The WF task dialog now shows a scrollbar for long task descriptions that do not fit on the screen.
The WF preview in the task dialog was not always visible depending on your access rights.

You can now add items to binders in other projects.

New features

New workflow viewer/editor: the workflow viewer/editor is completely rewritten in JavaScript. You no longer need Java to open workflows. You can choose which viewer to use in your profile.
Workflows can also copy documents.
When setting a reminder in calendar events, you can now select a fixed date.
When copying a selection of documents, you can choose to copy all revisions or just the current one.
The dashboard document overview is faster for projects with many document copies.

Improvements

Some events were not shown in the calendar (e.g. when both start and end is 0:00).
After selecting a contact in the notification screen a letter disappeard on IE and Chrome.
Folder Access no longer shows the folders from the recycle bin at the end of the list.
The folder order is now correct when opening the full folder tree in Folder Access.
The JavaScript viewer is a bit faster by optimizing the number of file reads.

New features

When unzipping an uploaded zip on the server, you can indicate the character encoding of the file names.
The copy and move dialogs now load faster if you have a lot of projects.
A document copy will by default only copy the last revision and update the uploaded date of the file.
The certificate for the viewer applet and the workflow applet is renewed. Please accept the new certificate.
Project details has a new design.
Repository: you can now set access rights on individual table columns.
SOAP: the access right canPrint is now also available via SOAP.

Improvements

When you upload multiple files that are revisions, the dialog showed only the previous description of the first document.
When selecting a WF actor you can also select users that have access via a binder.

New features

Mail-in username and password now support 100 characters (used to be 25).
There is a new access right 'create subfolder' to allow users to create subfolders with the same access as the parent folder.
New users will always have their email address as username. If that username is already in use you can only import the existing user.
A user can no longer choose the username. An existing user only has an option to change to his email address as username.
The list of users in administration now shows the users email address to make it easier for the admin to import in other projects or addressbooks.
When an administrator is importing contacts, he also sees project users that are not yet in any addressbook.
The document list can now be downloaded in an Excel recognized format. It now also contains workflow statusses and extra data fields.
The rich text editor now has buttons to switch between left-to-right and right-to-left text.
Subscription mails are also sent when a document is moved into a folder you are subscribed to.
You can now setup auto workflows without pre-defining the coordinator. The document author will be the coordinator.
You can no longer create an empty note.
Repository forms reworked: You can now create a form from scratch and the necessary tables will automatically be created in the background.
Repository form new fields: Document link field, Image from Vondle, Rating field, Address field with map, Calculation field.
Repository form fields can be resized via drag and drop.

Improvements

Removing all access from a folder in access per folder resulted in incorrect access if subfolders still had access.
Vondle mails now start with 'VONDLE -' instead of 'VONDLE:' to stop Outlook from thinking it's a forward or reply.
The author of a document in a notification mail was wrong in notify of move or copy.
A notify mail about multiple uploads was blocked by some mailservers because of the very long subject. Subject is now limited.
Notification about add to binder actions where only checked for access to original folder.
Subscriptions were sent with everyone in To:. This is now changed to Bcc:.
It is no longer possible to lock a file if you do not have add revision rights.
Move/Copy no longer shows all root folders. Only the root folders where the user has access are shown.
Copy as revision on another document works again.
Move document and Add to binder in workflows now shows the folder list inside the applet.
Private annotations where shown in the document details.
Sorting a binder by type is fixed.
Editing start and end date of a recurring event fixed.
Documents in binders found by the search function returned an access exception when clicking on the name.
